Rogue to the Rescue

I have to quit my graphic design job after Thanksgiving. I love my job so I hate to quit, but I have to move to Florida. And I have no job lined up, so I'm trying to get a comic penciling portfolio together asap. I'm pretty new to comics and everything I know is mostly assumptions. I really appreciate any feedback you could leave after viewing any of the comic art. I've been drawing comics for about 8 months now and had cancer for some of the time. -It's what got me into my first comic book. I've come a long way in that time, but I know I've got a ways to go, so PLEASE, leave any advice or feedback you can. Thanks, Jon.

What comics should I buy for Xmas???

I own one graphic novel and I want to be a comic book artist. I NEED more comics to get a better understanding of them. So I'm going to be getting a bunch for christmas. Could anyone help by telling me comics with good art or good artists? As long as it has good art thats really the priority. Open to everything. Links would help.

I live in Vegas and go to work everyday in my flip flops. I'm a graphic designer right now but I'm hoping to break into the comic/illustrator industry soon. The past year of my life has been nuts. I had cancer and got a liver transplant, which is a lot tougher on the body than I could have anticapated. I'm 6 feet tall and weigh 135 lbs now but my dreads are prob 10 pounds of that. Hope you enjoy my art.
